In conjunction with Exeter Pride, we are holding an evening in celebration of the diversity and inclusion we should all find within the DIY punk scene. We have four bands playing, each of which include members who identify within the LGBTQ+ community and / or include lyrical content that explores life across sexual orientation and gender spectrums. Following the gig, there will be a DJ playing toons.

The bands:

>> The Spook School <<

Queer indie-pop punk from Edinburgh on Fortuna POP Records. Noisy, tuneful and triumphant queer pop songs about identity, sexuality and being awesome.

FFO: Martha, Joanna Gruesome, Trust Fund, Tuff Love.

>> Jesus and His Judgemental Father <<

"Sounds like the 10 Things I Hate About You soundtrack, except way more queer". Queer pop punk songs.

FFO: ONSIND, Radiator Hospital, Cheap Girls.

>> Bad Moves <<

Power-Pop / Indie Punk from Washington D.C., USA! ft. David Combs who you may know from Spoonboy or The Max Levine Ensemble.

+ One more band TBA

FFO: Spoonboy, Colour Me Wednesday, PWR BTTM.

This event is taking place at The Bike Shed Theatre. Doors are technically at 8pm as this is when the theatre performance in the room next door finishes.
